An official confirmed KNO that a militant has been killed and few army man have received injuries, who have been evacuated to hospital for treatment. Earlier on specific inputs about the presence of militants joint team of forces including 50RR, CRPF and Jk police laid search operation in Sutsoo Kalan area of Chatergam in Budgam in wee hours of Friday. On intensifying search towards a suspected spot, hiding militants fired upon forces which was retaliated triggered encounter. Two to three militants are believed to be trapped in a residential house and firing is on.
